1. Introduction

BebeMake ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service").

The Service requires an account to use AI photo generation because generations are tied to your personal credit balance, purchase validation, and private storage of your uploaded and generated photos.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

Email address
Authentication information necessary to sign you in (managed by our authentication provider)

2.2 Profile Information (Optional)

If you choose to complete your profile, we may collect:

First and last name
Gender
Date of birth
Profile photo (may contain face data)

2.3 Photos (Including Face Data)

To generate an AI image, we process:

Parent photos you upload (captured with your camera or selected from your photo library)
Generated images created by the Service

These photos may contain face data (facial images).

Explicit statement: face data is not retained as biometric identifiers. We do not create, collect, store, or retain faceprints, facial recognition templates, facial embeddings, face geometry measurements, or other biometric identifiers derived from your photos. We do not store facial analysis outputs (for example, results of automated age/safety checks) after processing completes. Other than storing the photos you choose to keep in your account (which may include faces), we do not retain face data. We do not use facial recognition to identify you.

Why we store photos that may contain face data. We store the photos you upload and the images we generate (which may contain faces) to:

Provide the Service (generate images using your inputs)
Let you view, download, and manage your private generation history inside the app
Maintain security and prevent abuse (for example, enforcing rate limits and investigating fraud or misuse when necessary)

How long we store photos that may contain face data (and why). We retain uploaded parent photos and generated images until you delete them (or delete your account) so you can access your history and downloads. This means you control how long these photos are kept. When you delete photos (or delete your account), the photos are moved to a restricted, private deleted area and are permanently deleted within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (for example, to address fraud, abuse, or legal claims). After permanent deletion, the face data contained in those photos is not retained by us.

Photos are stored securely with private access controls and are displayed to you using expiring, signed URLs.

2.4 Generation Metadata

We store limited metadata to operate the Service, such as timestamps, generation status, and file paths required to retrieve your content securely.

2.5 Purchase Information

When you make in-app purchases:

Transaction receipts are processed through Apple's App Store
We process receipt information (such as transaction identifiers) to validate purchases and prevent fraud
We store your credit balance (corresponding to the number of generations) associated with your account
Payment information is handled exclusively by Apple and is not stored on our servers

2.6 Usage, Diagnostics, and Security Data

We collect limited operational data, including:

Photo generation requests
Error logs and performance diagnostics for troubleshooting
Security signals (such as IP address and request frequency) to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and maintain the photo generation service
Process your in-app purchases and manage credits
Send important service-related notifications
Improve our services and user experience
Ensure security and prevent fraud

4. AI Image Generation

Your photos are processed using AI models to generate images based on your inputs. The AI processing:

Is performed using third-party AI service providers (currently Google Generative AI / Gemini)
Does not use your photos to train or improve our AI models
May include automated safety checks intended to prevent prohibited or abusive content
Processes photos on demand, and photos can be deleted by users from within the app

When you submit parent photos for generation, we may run automated checks on those photos (including checking that the photos appear to be of adults) to comply with our safety requirements. We do not use face data for identity verification or authentication.

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

Data is stored using cloud infrastructure and databases
Photos are stored with private access controls (not public)
Signed URLs with expiration times are used for secure photo access
Encryption in transit and at rest

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

Account information: Until you delete your account
Uploaded parent photos and generated photos (which may contain face data): Until you delete them or delete your account
Photos you delete (including photos that may contain face data): Stored in a restricted, private deleted area and permanently deleted within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (for example, to address fraud, abuse, or legal claims)
Purchase records and security logs: Retained as necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance

You can request account deletion from within the app (Profile → More Actions → Delete Account). To help prevent accidental deletion, we may ask you to confirm your email address. If you request account deletion, we will begin deleting your account and associated content stored in the Service (including uploaded and generated photos). Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law (for example, accounting records or security logs). You should save locally any generated photos you want to keep before deleting your account, because deleted content cannot be recovered.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Delete your photos and account
Request correction of inaccurate data
Opt out of optional communications

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions): Account management and backend services
Google Cloud Storage: Secure photo storage
Google Generative AI (Gemini): Image generation processing and automated safety checks for submitted photos (which may contain face data)
Apple App Store: In-app purchase processing (Apple does not receive your photos through this flow)

Face data sharing with third parties. When you submit photos for generation, your photos (which may contain face data) are shared with:

Google Cloud (Firebase/Cloud Storage): We store your uploaded and generated photos on Google Cloud Storage so we can provide the Service (private storage, signed URL delivery, and account-bound history). Google stores this content on our behalf for the same retention periods described in Section 6.
Google Generative AI (Gemini): We send the photos you submit to Google for on-demand image generation and automated safety checks. We send photos for this purpose only, and we do not use your photos to train our models. Google may temporarily store request data for service reliability and abuse prevention for a limited period (typically up to 30 days), after which it is deleted according to Google's applicable terms and policies.

10. Changes to This Policy
